Rosary Day celebrated by CAL and YCS at St. Sebastian Church, Bendur

On the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Cathoilc Action League (CAL) in collaboration with Young Catholic Students (YCS), Bendur observed Rosary day on Friday, 7 October 2022. The liturgy of the 5pm mass was taken up by the members of CAL and YCS. Following the mass and adoration, all parishioners moved in procession to the grotto of Mother Mary with lighted candles, to pray the rosary.

The prayer session began with Hymns sung to Mother Mary. Rev Fr Ronson Pinto, asst director of CAL, gave the significance of the feast of our Lady of the Rosary. The Rosary was recited, led by the members of CAL and YCS. To make the rosary more devotional, Marian hymns were sung throughout the Rosary.
V. Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro, Parish priest and Rev. Fr Vivian Rodrigues, asst director of YCS, were also present.

The youth and parishioners joined together as one family in faith and spent time praying to our Mother. Spiritually, connected to the Lord.
