Obituary – Rev Fr. Peter Noronha (85), Bendur Parish Priest (2003-2011)

Rev. Fr Peter Salvadore Noronha (85 years), St Zuze Vaz Home, Jeppu, passed away on morning May 5th 2021, at 8.30 a.m. 

We pray for the repose of the soul of our dear departed priest, Rev Fr Peter Noronha. May the Lord welcome him to the heavenly abode.

His Funeral Rite will take place on May 5th 2021 at 4.30 p.m. in St Lawrence Church, Bondel.  Following the regulations in place, only the closest of his family members will be attending the funeral and burial rites.

Rev. Fr Peter Noronha, after his priestly ordination on 4th Dec 1961 served the diocese holding the following assignments: Assistant Parish Priest – Bajpe -1962, Assistant Parish Priest – Bejai -1965, Chaplain/Parish Priest – Katipalla -1968, Director – Father Muller Kankanady -1978, Parish Priest – Udupi -1988, Parish Priest – Bantwal -1995, Parish Priest – Bendur – 2003, After retirement, Socius – Father Muller Derlakatte- 2011, St Zuze Vaz Home -2020.
