A Slave washing master’s   feet is common but master washing his disciples’ feet is a great challenge. Jesus the master washed his disciple’s feet and created a history, and he taught a great lesson on servant leadership.  Recalling this great historical event, Maundy Thursday was celebrated with great devotion in Bendur.  Washing the feet of six men and six women from the parish where the attraction of the day.

Rev Fr Antony Shera being the main Celebrant symbolically washed the feet and helped us to recall the commandment of Jesus. Rev .Fr Roshan D’Cunha gave a very meaning full homily on Eucharist, stewardship, and priesthood.  Fr Ashwin  Cardoza Asst parish priest, And Fr Alwin  Serrao Principal of Padua college, and Rev Fr Praveen Martis, and Rev Fr Ivan Madta guest priests had concelebrated the mass. After the Mass Rev Fr Antony Shera conducted the Adoration and helped us to feel the presence of Jesus. Mr. Ronald Walder the vice president of  Parish Pastoral Council,  Mrs. Mevis Rodrigues the secretary of PPC and with the help of many volunteers the day’s celebration went on smoothly. Around 2,500 people witnessed this great and meaningful ceremony.
