The first YCS general meeting for 2020-21 was held on Sunday, 25th October 2020 at the Community Hall. The meeting began with a prayer song led by Megan Aroza  and Vinol Dsouza , followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Master. Aaron Patrao, Unit president, welcomed the gathering. Following which, the newly elected office bearers were introduced.

V. Rev. Fr. Vincent Monteiro, the YCS director, in his  message told how being closer to church helps the young build a life filled with values. Next,  Fr.Ashwin Crasta, the Episcopal city varado director, spoke about how YCS helps in improving oneself and how it helped him in his life.

The chief guest for the programme was Fr. Rupesh Madtha, the YCS Diocesean Director, of Mangalore Diocese. Fr. Rupesh, through his words and enlightened the members about the YCS/YSM movement. He spoke about what YCS really is and what is done in YCS. He spoke about how YCS was started and how it became an international movement. He stressed on transformation and hence transform the society. By being a part or member of YCS,  one can create an identity for themselves in the parish and society. The working methodology of YCS, which is, ‘See, Judge and Act’, helps evaluate life events in the light of righteousness.

The new animator Sr Janet AC was warmly welcomed. The Vote Of Thanks was delivered by Ms. Erica Lobo, YCS secretary. The program was compered  by Mrs. Anita Frank, YCS animator. Breakfast was served to all the attendees.
