On the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, CAL in collaboration with YCS Bendur initiated Rosary Day on 7 October 2021.
The Rosary Day commenced with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 5pm. The liturgy of the mass was taken up by the members of CAL and YCS. Following which the parishioners moved in procession to the grotto of Mother Mary to pray the Rosary.
The prayer service began with hymns sung to Mother Mary. Rev Fr Ashwin Crasta, asst director of YCS, gave the significance of the feast of our Lady of the Rosary. Subsequently, the Rosary was prayerfully recited, led by the members of CAL and YCS. Special intentions were prayed for with every mystery that was recited. Rev. Fr Ronson Pinto, asst director of CAL, proclaimed the word of God and reflected upon it. Marian hymns were sung throughout the Rosary, making it more devotional.
This spiritual event brought together the youth and elders of the parish to pray as one family, helping them get closer to the Lord through the intercession of our Mother.
