The Legion of Mary association of the parish celebrated their annual day on 22nd September 2012. In the evening at 5:00pm Parish Priest Fr Antony Serrao celebrated the Thanksgiving mass where all the members of association joined together and thanked God for all His blessings. After the mass at 6:30pm the members arranged the cultural programme at Parish Mini Hall. The Diocesan Spiritual Director of Legion of Mary Fr. Francis D’Souza, addressed the gathering and appreciated the members for their service to the parish and for society. Parish Priest Fr Antony Serrao requested the members of the association to get younger members, thus we may able to spread this mission to the present youth. The assistant parish priests Fr Paul Crasta, Fr John Moras, association President of Varado, Alice Lobo, Vice President Cynthia Fernandes, and Vice President of Parish Council Mr Ronald Valder were present for the function.  Cecilia Peris, the president of the association welcomed the gathering. Grace D’cruz compared the programme. The programme got over at 8:30 with dinner.
